Introduction of International Collaborations
The mission of the International Collaborations of NCDR is aim at being one of the benchmarking institutions in disaster risk reduction with outreach worldwide. Thus, NCDR takes the APEC EPWG Co-Chair seat since 2012, the European Commission official focal contact window, the board of director of Global Alliance of Disaster Research Institute (GADRI) and etc. to engage collaborations by offering action-based capacity building and preparedness on natural hazards and disasters with public, private and people’s partnership and participation. NCDR international partnership includes The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), USAID, Pacific Disaster Center (PDC), National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention ( NIED), Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI) of Kyoto University、National Disaster Management Institute (NDMI) - Korea，Mercy Malaysia, UNISDR, UNOCHA, UNDP, APEC, APEC Climate Center (APCC), European Commission, European Space Agency (ESA), GADRI, the Asian Disaster Reduction Center (ADRC), the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC), and the International Council for Science (ICSU）- Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR), and University of National and World Economy (UNWE).
