The 13th DPRI-NCDR Workshop is held on 18 March in Japan. Hence the MoU signed from 2010, Director Hongey Chen led NCDR teams to Japan and had comprehensive discussion on Meteorology, Geological and Hydrological Hazards and Social System to advance bilateral academic collaboration with the friends of Disaster Prevention Research Institute Kyoto University(DPRI).
DPRI arranged for the NCDR delegation to visit the Shirahama Observatory and the Seto Marine Biological Laboratory to exchange experience about the relevant applications of DRR technology.
