The 2024 International Training Workshop (2024 ITW) on Smart Technology and Earthquake Risk Management was held in person in Taipei, Taiwan, from October 28 to November 2, 2024.

This year, the 2024 ITW aims to empower the participants in seismic risk management by applying smart technology. The workshop unites academics, practitioners, and emergency responders interested in smart technology and earthquake emergency management. Participants could share knowledge in seismic science and technology, learn about intelligent information platforms and tools, and attend invited talks on case studies of recent catastrophic earthquakes.
