"Taiwan can help" - DRR technology to strengthen the resilience for Saint Vincent Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Taiwan International Health Action (TaiwanIHA), International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF), National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE-NARLabs), National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction (NCDR), and Taiwan International Health Action (TaiwanIHA) signed the MoU on the Consultancy Project for Diasater Management and Medical Capacity Building in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on 13 April, 2021. Dr. Hongey Chen, the director of NCDR mentioned that Taiwan’s DRR science and technology has developed more a decade, and applied to the emergency management as well as capacity building to many countries. The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Ambassador, Ms. Andrea Bowman was invited to witness the signing ceremony. She especially thanked for Taiwan’s support to the La Soufriere eruption, which embodies the spirit of "Taiwan can help, and Taiwan is helping".
